Melodys Smoking Bill

LeMo QuarterHorses have taken a step further when it comes to both riding and breeding, and are now the new home of the well meritated Quarterstallion Melodys Smoking Bill, aka 'Billy'. Billy has a great capasity as a tutor for us to develop our riding skills within the western diciplines. He has a very good temper and a beautiful conformation. Billy will continue to be stood at stud for the comming seasons. To ensure a smooth ownership takeover he will still be boarded at Lykseth Gård for a period of time. Big thanks to Marianne og Lars Østby-Deglum who made this possible for us.

 

 

 

 

Summer Clinic 2009

This years 5-day summer-clinic with Waldemar Wass came about on the marvellous premises of Liven Solheim and Helge Kilde at Kilde Gård, Rena. They had a full house with both two- and fourlegged participants, and our hosts did their absolute best to make everyone feel comfortable and happy. A big 'Thank You' to everybody at Kilde Gård, Walle + all the superb participants, who all together made the Summer Clinic 2009 to an educational and great experience, leaving a lot of good memories. Next years Summer Clinic is already at the planning stage, and will most probably be scheduled last week in July at Rancho Kilde. We're looking forward to this already!

Foal 2009

Unfortunately we only got one out of two possible offsprings at Negaard this year, but in reward the one we got is a beautiful colt by FR Smart Hickolena (son of Smart Chick O'Lena) out of our own Sundance Candy Girl (by Colonels Fella). He is very social and confident, and we are really looking forward to see how he developes.

New Roundpen

We are building a new at Negaard. This is a 'must have' when it comes to training horses, and will be an important tool working with our youngsters

 

 

 

 

Foal 2008

We got three beautiful new members to our family this year; a sorrel colt after Mr. Gentle Deduction and a black colt + a grullo filly after Runing Playboy. All three were sound and healthy, and are showing a great developement. Both colts are for sale, while the filly is planned used in our breeding program. See our new reining prospects here

We've also bred Candy this summer, Candy is verified in foal to the very exciting stallion FR Smart Hickolena, Big thanks to Gun at Vasen Quarter Horses for excellent service. Find more here....

 

 

 

Clinics with Waldemar "Walle" Wass

Since July 2006 we've had the pleasure of arranging clinics in Norway with the Swedish National Team reining rider Mr. Waldemar "Walle" Wass. The clinics are hosted by Mrs. Elisabeth Røstad at Holtet Gård & Hestesenter at Flisa, where we rent excellent facilities with both in- and outdoor riding courts, together with high standard bedding possibilities for both horse and rider. Starting 2009, our clinics will be held at Lykseth Ranch just ouside Hamar, where we will get even better facilities for training. Welcome to our Walle-clinics!
